Today we gathered not for hiking, but for camping.
I wanted to give both body and mind, which had roamed the mountains through all four seasons,
a moment of rest.
Spending the end of the year and the beginning of a new one
together with the Welter Experiment crew feels deeply meaningful.
Time flowing slowly makes the heart relaxed,
and such relaxation gives the courage to show consideration to others.

The most important thing in winter camping is the fight against the cold.
To protect the body warmly from the external environment and cold,
and to create a comfortable space, the campsite is carefully checked.
Not only one’s own space but also the tents of the crew are carefully checked.
The surroundings of the tents are inspected, the strings are pulled tighter, and the pegs are fixed in place.
As we pat each other’s efforts, time flows like this once again today.
The memory of a mountain summit where memories were made,
and the food shared there, all become joyful stories.
About a new “Experiment,”
