Even under the scorching midsummer sun,
giving up on climbing a mountain is not an option.
Though the hiking club had always been with the Welter Experiment crew,
this time it was different.
For this hike, together with the outdoor crew Stranger Seoul,
we decided to climb the symbolic mountain of Seoul — the Bibong Ridge of Bukhansan.
The Bibong Ridge, made up of rocky cliffs,
is not easy to climb, but
going up and down the ridge offers the experience of facing both city and nature,
which makes it well worth it.
The view of Seoul unfolding at a glance,
and the presence of mountains embracing the city,
always fill me with gratitude.
In a hike full of movement,
the most important things are stretching, deodorization,
and ventilation.
There is nothing as important and meaningful as hiking
when it comes to experiencing the functions that clothing can offer.
Climbing the rocky ridge, I experienced these various functions firsthand.
The hiking club with Stranger Seoul
must have been a meaningful time for everyone.
It was not only about the hiking club,
but also about reflecting on how to engage in new outdoor activities together.
It was a moment to once again think about the philosophy of “Tapping into the Field.”
