On a day welcomed by the blue sky,
the Welter Experiment crew participated in the Seoul Trail race hosted by Suunto Korea.

The Seoul Trail is a race to complete about 25 km of fortress paths encircling Seoul,
providing ample time to feel the harmony of nature and the city,
and to experience with the whole body the past and present of Seoul — a memory worth keeping.

At the starting line, participants were fully occupied with warming up and getting ready.

Climbing the Namsan fortress trail, I exhaled heavy breaths.
Ascending the stairs through the forest of buildings,
I suddenly found myself face-to-face with nature.

Sweat was already running down my back, my whole body filled with heat,
yet in Seoul, mountains are always close at hand, wherever you are in the city.
It made me reflect on Seoul once again.

Breathing heavily as I alternated between running and walking,
I now reached the summit of Namsan and headed toward the Inwangsan course.

The blazing sunlight, the blue sky,
and the sight of Namsan Tower, the symbol of Seoul, felt strikingly unique.

Among the three-mountain course, I had just passed the first third,
yet an inexplicable freshness brought a smile to my face.

After completing the Namsan course,
we reached the summit of Inwangsan in just an hour.

It is a place where you can take in the scenery of Seoul at a glance.
All the weariness of daily life seemed to vanish in an instant.

Sharing it with the Welter Experiment crew made it all the more memorable.

After descending Inwangsan, we crossed the final course at Bugaksan and returned to the starting point at Namsan.

My legs were numb and my feet swollen,
yet it was a joyful moment of finishing the race safely.

Running through Seoul was a rediscovery of the city itself,
and above all, thanks to the crew who shared this journey,
I feel this lingering afterglow will stay with me for quite a long time.
