Even in the biting cold, there is a romance unique to the season.

When the wind blows, you let it blow; when the rain falls, you let it fall —
embracing each moment brings incomparable joy and lasting memories.

No matter how much we brave the cold, the seasons always come and go.

Today, I visited a mountain near Gyeonggi-do, untouched by people’s footsteps.

Though it is well known as a forest bathing area,
the path leading up the mountain was quiet and still, allowing me to fully feel the charm that only a winter mountain can offer.

Though the mountain is not rugged, the trail feels as if it has shut out even the outside world,
and the sound of fallen leaves beneath my feet seemed to linger in my ears for quite a while.

I stood still for a moment, listening to the birds that had made their home here.

In places less touched by human hands, there are unexpected discoveries and joys.

At that moment, I felt the surroundings fall into sudden silence.

We cannot hear the words of nature, but we can surely feel them.

Upon reaching the summit, I discovered unexpected sights.

The sheer cliffs of rock,
and at the same time, the power of nature growing from the cracks within them.

At moments like this, you need to use your whole body, not just walk on two feet, to truly feel the thrill.

It feels as if I have become an adventurer.

I discover a completely different version of myself than the one in the city.

This is why I am always curious about nature, about the mountains, and why I continue to seek them.
