The end of summer always leaves a lingering sense of regret.
The blazing sun, the occasional breeze, the cicadas crying tirelessly
only the intense energy and sounds announcing summer fill the air.
With the blazing sunlight as a friend,
the Welter Experiment Hiking Club crew went to the valley.
Valley trekking, climbing against the current,
requires identifying uneven terrain and objects while walking,
making it an activity that demands a bit more adventurousness and caution.
The crashing sound of water against the rocks gives the illusion
of forgetting the midsummer heat for a moment.
Hearing the laughter of the crew together
makes the hardship briefly forgotten.
A brief sweet rest, a moment of gratitude for the space given by nature.
Gathering at today’s campsite with the crew,
we talk about the trekking that took place today.
Lighting a campfire, we stay up for a while into the night.
Today also fills a part of the memories.
